International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) is a major annual international conference for academics and research-oriented practitioners in the area of information systems.
ICIS 2011 is to be held in Shanghai, China from December 4 to 7, 2011. The theme of this year is “East Meets West: Connectivity and Collaboration through Effective Information Systems”. Attendees will include leading researchers and practitioners in IS (information systems).
Jerry Zhang, President and Founder of Shinetech, will be the featured speaker for the session “IT innovation in China: Industry and Business Capabilities” on Monday, 5 December, 1:00pm-3:00pm. Mr. Zhang will be sharing his experience with growing a technical business, competing in the international market as well as serving the Chinese market.
In the session, panelists will also discuss the latest ideas and thoughts in research and business. Mr. Zhang will share about the importance for Chinese software suppliers to develop the capability for delivering innovative products and services and the challenges we may meet in the path to be innovative. In addition, he will introduce his experiences with building relationships with customers locally and abroad.
