10 more developers hired for Europe's largest online restaurant booking system development.(November 04, 2009)

Shinetech signed a new contract with a long term client last week, which is a leading restaurant reservation services provider in Europe. 10 more developers were hired to speed up the client's SaaS application development.

Cooperation with the client started from August, 2007, and Shinetech has been involved in development of two products which are online booking systems based on web 2.0 & SOA. One of them has been put into services and the other will be released in the near future.

Shinetech adopts special development model of Scrum + XP; the working activities include: incremental iterations（two weeks per iteration）, electric task board, continuous integration, smoke testing and unit testing. Pair programming is adopted when new team members are involved.

There is a role called Business Analyst on client’s side that is responsible to gather business requirement, and transfer it to Shintech team. Deshui and lead developers learn requirements and prioritize the top 20% to establish the main software framework. Then the whole team starts to build modules by user stories / function points and optimize the architecture as well.

Up to now, the client is very satisfied with the process how Shinetech makes business value for him.
