Business Intelligence System on Java for a US IT software service provider. (30 Aug, 2007)
Shinetech develops a Business Intelligence System (BIS) for a US leading market intelligence firm.
With the documents concerning the design of the BIS, including UI, Database, UI Database Mapping and use case provided by the client, the team, initially composed of 5 members and lead by Project Manager (PM), Zhang Wei, began to conduct the development work on 30 Jul, 2007.
The client keeps track of the whole project progress status via a dedicated Demo Server while Shinetech, on the other hand, gets to know the client's exact requirements by frequent communications through either E-mail or MSN on daily basis as the project goes so as to optimize the system. What's more, Shinetech issues the working paper to the client on monthly basis to let the client know what's done and what's going to do.
Business Intelligence System (BIS) gives the client an industry margin in being the only system based on a collaborative community of IT buyers who share their plans and investments. Critically important to the successful deployment of BIS is IT solutions optimizer, a web portal for harvesting BIS data. It profiles how and when technology is used, and how products and services perform relative to expectations.
The system is developed with the technologies of JAVA and SQL Server. The team, grown to 12 people at present, had already finished their framework building and is now stepping into the stage of coding, and the project is expected to be completed on 24 Nov, 2007.
