Shinetech started a new project's development for a UK long-term partner. (4 Aug, 2005)

Shinetech has lately started a web application development for a UK long-term partner which is an Internet company thriving on innovation and excellent design.

The web application will be a public user website that allows buyers and sellers of retail goods to communicate with each other. It also allows sellers to compete for a buyer's needs on price and specification of goods.

At present, the phase of requirement analysis has finished. Shinetech's engineers are now working on the architecture design. The web user control will be adopted to complete the majority of functionalities to reduce recoding on similar functions, and all the data access will be implemented by stored procedures to better prevent injected attack and make the code clearer.

The development tool to be utilized is VS.NET 2003 with the programming language VB.NET. The target browser covers Internet Explorer 6, Opera 8 and Mozilla Firebox 1.0. Other technologies involve XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2.0.
