CSD consultant team assists to bring an U.K. SME client's big idea to market. (11 March, 2008)
Shinetech is now running a 15-man team for an U.K. vertical market (essence / flavor industry) ISV (Independent software Vendor). Up to now, the workload is 112 man months. The client could expect the first launch within 5 months.
Starting from Jan 2007 with a 3-man trial project, soon we established initial mutual trust by professional programming performance, capacity on business requirement analysis and system architecture. To this client, Shinetech acts as no longer a programmer provider today, but an entire IT department and IT consultant team backing him up. The team played a very important role in system architecture of the software product. Based upon thorough understanding of client's business model, the team also provided significant suggestions on client's business plan, e.g. product launching schedule, budget control, risk management, etc.
The required product is a web-based cross-platform ERP for global essence and flavoring manufacture industry. Popular technologies like J2EE, AJAX are used. Since this is a large system with unexpected workload, shinetech spends quite some time on requirement analysis and system architecture to reduce entire project risk. RUP (Rational Unified Process) is adopted to guarantee code quality, close-to-market design, easy budget control, even efficient decision-making support.
