Team:
Feature: Close collaboration between distributed teams as requirement changes regularly Agile Practice The mode of agile development is adopted from the very beginning of this project in 2005. Both client and Shinetech work on the specific model of the distributed agile development. Although each iteration plan is made 3 months ahead normally, the requirement from the client still changes very frequently. Even if the iteration isn't finished yet we make amendment according to client's request anyway. 2-4 days a story makes workload estimate much easier and makes the project more flexible to change. Some requirement analysis and elaboration on both technology level and business level is done by Shinetech, which saves the client a lot of work. We deliver the code every month and the client finishes deployment and continuous integration on his side. Very close contact between client and each member of the developing team by MSN messenger and everyday teleconference improves the communication bandwidth greatly and overcomes the shortcoming of distributed development very well. Daily report is submitted to enhance the project visibility. At the same time, VSS is used through the whole project to insist the project management. Benefit The ERP system is finally named by Microsoft as typical solution in the field of semiconductor.
