 Media Shinetech established long-term offshore software development partnership with Ikano. Shinetech Software Development Inc., one of the high-reputed offshore application development firms in China, has put across two application projects for IKANO Financial Services Limited, based in Nottingham, UK. Shinetech accomplished the first project On-line Statement Retrieval System with flying colors, enabling the IKANO's customers to retrieve their statement, including information in transaction history, balance, credit limit, etc., on IKANO's website. According to Chris Jones, Head of Systems, "Actually we have been very pleased with the cooperation. I think both sides have had to learn about how to work together, both between cultures and between technologies, but we seem to have created a good result...I will be hoping to work again with Shinetech in the future." Then the two companies began the second cooperation. Shinetech developed the Application Processing System for IKANO. After the successful accomplishment of this project, they established long-term offshore software development relationship.
