How we do it

It is quite easy to start a project with Shinetech. The following is a brief and non-technical overview of how Shinetech works with you:

Q: How do you protect my Intellectual Property?
A: Shinetech considers compliance with the Laws and International Agreements on Intellectual Property (IP) as a critical element in the company's long-term development strategy. Start the Project

Q: What should I do if my requirement is only a general idea?
A: At this stage, you could resort to us and tell your needs and expectations. The suitable consultants will approach you to learn as much as possible about your software outsourcing needs and work with you to build a detailed specification out of it as long as you have clear thoughts on what you really want.

Q: What should I do if I have a fully documented specification?
A: Send it over to us and we will evaluate and analyze the project based on the detailed requirement, then a proposal will be created and with your approval with it, we will submit the resumes of proper resources with required skills and experience for your validation. Subsequently a team with required personnel is identified as well as the hardware/software environment is set up. After all these done, the project kicks off.

Also we provide free pilot to establish a deep and trustful relationship with you.

Q: What should I do if I only need dedicated resources?
A: Shinetech will set up an Offshore Development Center (ODC) which will act as a virtual extension of your own development team to provide development, ongoing support & enhancement, testing services. For more details about our ODC, please read: Offshore development center.

Q: How do you establish a team for my project?
A: If we reached an agreement and signed the Master Services Agreement, we would start the project within 5 working days for the work of a team less than 4 engineers, 10 working days for 5-10 engineers. Depending on your different project needs, the team roles will be distinguishing. >> top

Payment Terms

Q: How to make a payment?
A: Client must pay the Charges as agreed in the applicable Work Order.

  • Advance payment: As a rule, all projects start upon receipt of an advance payment after the Contract has been signed. For ODC projects, advance payment should be one month fee, for Fixed-price projects, it should be 20-30% of the total contract amount.
  • How and where to pay: We will email you the invoices with the bank information so that you can make wire transfer or credit card payments to our bank. For ODC projects, the invoice will be sent monthly, usually on or near the first day of each month. For Fixed-price projects, the charge will be made according to schedule with each delivery.
  • Payment Schedule: Payments should be made in fifteen days on receipt of the e-mail invoice. We greatly appreciate your notification on the day that the payment was wired. >> top

Development Process

Q: How can I know the progress of the project in real time?
A: With the professional online project management system Microsoft VSTS (Visual Studio Team Suite), Project Status Tracking & Management system, and meanwhile with regular progress reports, you could monitor the progress of your project at any time.

Q: How can we have an effective communication?
A: Various communication channels have been developed for you and Shinetech to reach each other conveniently at every stage of a project. It includes face-to-face communication, conference calls, instant messengers or emails, IP phones and Netmeeting. >> top

Warranty Period & Termination

Q: What can I do if any problems found after the project delivery?
A: Within 3-month warranty period after the software was delivered, any bug(s) in the code will be corrected free of charge.

Q: What are the cancellation terms in case our relationship doesn't work out?
A: You can cancel the agreement at any time without any judicial proceeding being necessary when you are not satisfied with our work.>> top
